About the Speaker
I am a scholar of Mahatma Gandhi and am very interested to explore his influence on the Civil Rights Movement. I have also been researching Rev. James M. Lawson’s work. Lawson is a leading figure in the CRM.
Affiliations
I have been involved with various interfaith activities for the last two decades. I served on the Board of Trustees of the World’s Parliament of Religions, the oldest and largest interfaith organization. In my scholarship, I engage with interfaith issues and the question of building strong interfaith relations among various groups.
