About the Speaker

Rabbi Rick Winer was inspired to pursue the rabbinate by the models of the interfaith work his rabbi modeled and the powerful images of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel marching side by side with the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Rabbi Winer chaired the board of Faith in the Valley, an interfaith organization dedicated to bringing positive change through faithful social justice. He continues to march with and be inspired by partners in the interfaith community throughout the Central Valley and beyond.
